Improves Your Computer's or Server's Performance and Storage Capabilities
This U.2 to M.2 adapter connects a B+M Key SATA M.2 SSD or M-Key NVMe M.2 SSD (2242, 2260 or 2280 size) to your computer's or server's U.2 (SFF-8639) compatible host interface on the motherboard. This conversion lets you add terabytes (TB) of internal storage space and enhance your PC's read/write speeds. The adapter is compatible with PCI Express (PCIe) 3.0 motherboards. It is also backward compatible with earlier 2.0 and 1.0 versions.

Add an Optional Adapter for Expanded Functionality
The P970-U2M2 adapter card is compatible with Tripp Lite's PCE-U2-PX4 U.2 to PCIe adapter (sold separately) to convert the PCIe port into an M.2 SSD module. The P970-U2M2 easily slots into place in the PCE-U2-PX4 to effortlessly expand the storage capabilities of a computer that only has a PCIe port on its motherboard.

Just Plug and Play with No External Power Needed
The adapter is compatible with Windows (7 and higher) and macOS (High Sierra and higher). No additional software is needed. The hub-powered adapter also requires no external power.
