It doesn’t happen often, but there are times when consumer interactivity with innovation can highly influence corporate action. Such is the case with enterprise IT. It’s really about expectations, which lead to a multi-step process that leads organizations to re-evaluate their IT. If you’re looking to evolve, you might consider some of the following advice:

Adopting AI

One universal truth regarding consumer behavior is that when they interact with technology, they expect that their individual needs and preferences will be catered to. In other words, technology has to bend to the requirements of the consumer. Artificial intelligence (AI) is an example of a tool that stepped up in a big way to provide companies with the ability to meet those consumer expectations.

There are different types of AI, each of which have their uses. “Reactive” AI was one of the first to hit the market, relies on algorithms, and is a good candidate in a situation where all the parameters are known. “Limited memory” is a type of AI with the ability to handle more complex classification tasks. “Theory of mind” AI goes another step further and is able to learn with fewer examples.

Getting Predictive

Adopting the right enterprise IT practices can prevent internet outages. For example, you can use past key process indicators (KPIs) to predict what will occur in the future. Mining your data and analyzing it is going to assist you in figuring out the knowns and unknowns, allowing you to plan accordingly. Furthermore, tracking your KPIs not only allows you to plan, but also to react when something comes up quickly, such as a malicious threat.

The movement toward big data integration also involves process automation and machine learning, two more AI-related perks that can assist in being more proactive while also providing great tools for quickly reacting when surprises occur. When you have more efficiencies tied to your network, it shows in your workflow, which improves the bottom line.

Gaining Visibility

Most IT managers have had experiences that are typical in organizations that lack visibility in their digital workflow. An example is when your enterprise network uses a data center that is seemingly impossible to monitor, let alone maintain. This lack of visibility can lead to a panoply of problems from network outages to bandwidth issues that stall the daily workflow.Implementing more robust enterprise IT solutions can assist in gaining the visibility you need to stay on top. At AMD Technology, we are able to find the solutions our clients need to maintain their uptime and avoid outages. Contact us and find out how we’re able to assist. Our focus is on connecting businesses with the latest telecom technology from the best service providers.
